Cleaning an oven can be a tough task, but using a Scrub Daddy’s Power Paste can make the process much easier. Here are the steps to clean an oven with a Scrub Daddy paste:

1. To use, generate a foam by swirling a dampened Scrub Mommy sponge into the paste. Apply the foam to grease, soap scum, mildew or limescale stained surfaces.

2. Apply the paste: Apply the paste to the interior of the oven, covering all areas that need to be cleaned. Use a Scrub Mommy sponge or scrubber to spread the paste evenly and rub it gently into any stubborn stains.

3. Let it sit: Allow the paste to sit for at least 30 minutes or longer if the oven is particularly dirty. This will give the mixture time to break down any grime or grease that has built up.

4. Scrub and rinse: Use a damp Scrub Mommy sponge or scrubber to scrub the oven thoroughly, removing all the paste and grime. Rinse the sponge frequently with warm water to remove any excess paste.

5. Wipe down: Once you've scrubbed the oven, use a clean cloth or paper towel to wipe it down and remove any remaining residue or moisture.

6. Repeat if necessary: If the oven is still dirty, repeat the process until it's clean.

Remember to wear gloves and protective clothing while cleaning the oven, and make sure the oven is cool before you start. Additionally, ensure that the oven is completely dry before using it again.

If you still have buildup in your oven, try using a wet pumice stone to remove any additional dirt and grime. Don't overlook this step! Some of the more caked on areas will only come clean with a pumice stone. See our blog about using pumice stones here.
