Combine a few of the methods below to create a festive and welcoming atmosphere with delightful scents throughout your home during the holiday season.

1. Clean with Holiday-Scented Cleaners

Mrs. Myers is my favorite all-purpose cleaner to use for the scent, but it also cleans amazing too! They release seasonal scents throughout the year that leave your home smelling fabulous after each use. This year's "Scent of the Year"is Snowdrop, which is citrusy and floral with uplifting notes of mandarin, iced petunia and praline. Everytime I clean a home using Mrs. Myers my clients always walk in the house and comment on how fresh and pleasant it smells. Definitely a must for this holiday season! 2. Fragrance your Home with a Simmer Pot

Create a potpourri by simmering spices, fruits, and herbs on the stove. Combine ingredients like cinnamon sticks, cloves, orange peels, and rosemary in a pot of water. Let it simmer on low heat, and it will spread a delightful fragrance throughout your home. You can find a recipe here: https://therealfooddietitians.com/christmas-simmer-pot/

3. Essential Oils

Essential oils are a great way to create a lasting aroma throughout the home. My favorite essential oil brand is Now, and they have many fragrances for the holidays such as cinnamon, frankincense oil, and pine needle oil, but their most creative blend is their candy cane oil. This scent has peppermint oil & vanilla bean extract that give the oil it's sweet and minty scent. Drop some into your favorite diffuser and sit back and enjoy this amazing scent in your home!
